1️⃣ AI → OWSI Upgrade

(For certified Assistant Instructors or equivalent)

Upgrade from AI to full Open Water Scuba Instructor by joining the second half of the IDC.

You will learn:

  • Teaching presentations (classroom, confined water, open water)

  • Risk management and standards

  • Coaching and student control

  • IE preparation

  • Professional teaching techniques

2️⃣ Instructor Development Course (IDC)

Become a certified PADI Instructor.

Choose between three IDC packages depending on your goals:

BASIC IDC – 39,700 THB
Complete IDC + EFR Instructor + lunches + shared accommodation.

“EXTRA PRACTICE” IDC – 49,700 THB
Basic IDC plus extended practice + Nitrox & O2 Provider Instructor ratings.

“READY TO WORK” IDC – 59,700 THB
28-day IDC including Similan dives, extra practice, Nitrox & O2 Provider, staff introductions and experience.

All packages exclude PADI materials and PADI fees.

3️⃣ EFR Instructor (EFRI)

Required for all new PADI Instructors.

Included in all IDC packages or available independently.

What you will learn:

  • CPR, First Aid, Care for Children

  • AED skills

  • How to teach and structure emergency courses

  • How to evaluate students safely

Duration: 1 day

This leadership-level instructor course teaches you how to:

  • Mentor new instructors

Duration: 3–17 days depending on involvement
