As you may know, PADI instructor courses are always conducted in a PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre. Here in Khao Lak where Professional Diver Training are based our IDC partners are the wonderfull Go 2 Similan.
Go 2 Similan (G2S) Are a long standing members of the Khao Lak dive industry. They are a family run company run by husband and wife team Gary and Ann Gamage. Ann is also a PADI course director, operating under her own brand 'The Course Director' she has established links with all the dive schools in the area. Her ready to work program is the best way to get employed in the Similan islands. All courses have a strong environmental focus.
G2S offer us wonderfull facalities, 2 great pools, a substantial stock of high quality Scubapro rental equipment, air and nitrox fills from thier own compressor, a wide range of products in thier retail shop.
G2S offer much more than just IDCs, they run snorkeling trips to the Surin and Similan Islands daily, they can arrange private speedboat charters, and all PADI diving courses, from entry level programs such as Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water, Advanced, through to Rescue Diver, Diemaster, a wide range of specialities and even PADI TecRec courses. They also run regular dive triips to the many shipwrecks in the area, including the Sea Chart, Premchai, Boonsung, Bootrace and T13 underwater museum.
In 2026, G2S were upgraded from a standard IDC to full 5* Carreer Development Centre status. This is the highest possible rating for and PADI dive centre.
